SCHOOL HISTORY
We are a Cumbernauld based dance school established in 1987. Children are enrolled from 2 and a half years and beginners of 16 years & below are welcome.
Classes are held in Ravenswood & the Village, Cumbernauld in local community halls for easy travelling.
School Principal Lynn Waters is Enhanced Disclosure Scotland checked and the school is registered with North Lanarkshire Council's Child Protection Group.
TIMES AND VENUES
MONDAY EVENINGS - VILLAGE HALL, CUMBERNAULD
TINY TOES (Pre-School & Primary 1) - 5.15 to 6pm
Primary 2 & above - from 6pm (various start & finish times)
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS - WESTRAY RD HALL, RAVENSWOOD
TINY TOES (Pre-School & Primary 1) - from 4.30 to 5.15pm
Primary 2 & above - from 5.15pm (various start & finish times)
BRANCHES OF DANCE
TINY TOES CLASS
Our school runs 2 Childrens classes which are for all budding dancers from the age of 2 and a half to primary 1. This 45 minute session has the basics of Tap, Freestyle, Majorette and Baby Ballet. Children enjoy the fun songs, they learn different dance styles, get exercise, gain confidence and make new friends. Both boys and girls are welcome.
PRIMARY 2 & 3 PUPILS
This 90 minute dance session has Tap, Streetdance/Freestyle & Baton Twirling. Some Modern/Dance Cheer Pom is sometimes given as extra for shows.
PRIMARY 4 & ABOVE PUPILS
This 2 hour session has Tap, Streetdance/Freestyle, Modern & Baton Twirling. Some Dance Cheer Pom is sometimes given as an extra for shows/exams.
All pupils participate in exams at least once a year with the BATD.

Exams are taken from the branches of
Tap, Modern, Freestyle, Majorette & Dance Cheer Pom.
Even our pre-school pupils takes Starlite exams, so they don't feel left out!
CLASS UNIFORM
Our school colours are pink and black.
Uniform differs according to age group, from leos & dance tights to crop tops & jazz pants trousers.

SCOTTY AND LULU
In 2005 & 2006 our school provided the Cumbernauld Happy Crew
for the fabulous children's entertainers Scotty and Lulu.
Our younger pupils joined in the show with singing and dancing
and had great fun on stage in Cumbernauld Theatre.
ANNUAL STAGE PRODUCTION All children take part in our high standard stage productions. They are usually held in Greenfaulds High School for ease of travelling.
100% ATTENDANCE AWARDS
At the end of June, any pupils who achieve 100% attendance receive a special reward gift from Lynn. This year our lucky girls received a cute teddy bear and certificate for their wonderful attendance at class.
